NVIDIA is looking for a highly motivated Software QA Engineer to join our DOCA Host QA Team. Quality is a core pillar of our products, and as a DOCA Host QA Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality software to customers in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment. You will bring strong execution skills, a problem-solving mindset, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering a great user experience. This role involves hands-on software testing, systems validation, networking, Linux environments, automation, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams.
What you’ll be doing:
Design, execute (manual and automated), and automate tests for DOCA Host software
Validate features across networking, system, and Linux environments
Learn and test new networking standards, protocols, and features, improving QA coverage
Participate in design and requirement reviews; provide actionable feedback
Collaborate with software developers, hardware teams, and project managers to analyze and debug issues
Execute testing across multiple scopes: functional, regression, performance, and security
Report test progress, results, and provide clear summary reports
Develop and enhance tools, scripts, and processes to improve test quality and efficiency
Define, build, and maintain test setups and topologies for comprehensive product coverage
What we need to see:
B.A. / B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
1-3 years of experience as a Software QA Engineer
Strong Linux operating system experience
Solid networking knowledge (Ethernet, TCP/IP, RDMA – advantage)
Python programming experience (scripting and automation)
Experience with test execution, debugging, and problem solving
Ability to work independently with strong ownership and execution skills
Fast learner with strong technical aptitude
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
Strong Python scripting and automation skills
Experience with DOCA, drivers, system-level or networking software
Full-stack development understanding (backend, APIs, tools, and test frameworks)
Strong analytical thinking and troubleshooting capabilities
Hands-on experience with Linux internals and system debugging
