Your day at NTT DATA
As a Software Lifecycle Specialist at NTT DATA, your expertise will be pivotal in building and maintaining client relationships to drive value and increase the lifetime value of our software offerings. Serving as the primary point of contact post-sale, you'll act as a trusted advisor, ensuring our clients achieve their software goals and enhance their relationship with us.

You'll work closely with our Client Managers and Service delivery Managers to create and execute Software Success plans that accelerate software usage and feature adoption. By aligning with both the Line of Business and IT teams, you'll ensure that our clients' business and operational objectives are met effectively.

Your proactive approach will help clients adopt new software features, conduct regular training programs, and hold business review meetings to show the value they are receiving from their investments. In addition, you'll identify opportunities for upselling and expanding our software offerings, contributing to the overall growth and success of our clients' software journey.

Partnering with Client Success Managers, you'll ensure successful and timely renewals of software, actively document case studies, and guide the design and adoption of software-defined infrastructure offerings. Your role is critical in bridging gaps between Client Managers, Professional Services, and our Consulting teams, driving seamless communication and collaboration.

To thrive in this role, you need to have:
  • Expertise in account planning, stakeholder mapping, and management techniques.
  • Ability to understand and interpret client business strategies and identify solutions that align with their objectives.
  • Proficient sales skills, including consultative selling and negotiation, to identify and close upsell opportunities.
  • Capability to execute on-time software renewals with minimal volume or price churn.
  • Deep understanding of IT service environments, service operations, and ITIL practices.
  • Familiarity with financial statements and metrics to hold strategic client conversations.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships up to management level.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong questioning abilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in business management or a related field is strongly preferred.
  • Financial acumen knowledge and understanding.
