Software Engineering Senior Advisor - Hybrid

As a Software Engineering Senior Advisor focused on Quality Engineering (QE) and AI Test Automation, you will lead how we define, measure, and improve quality across complex platforms. You will shape testing strategy, drive automation, and partner across teams to ensure reliable, high-impact technology outcomes that support business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Own and drive the end-to-end Quality Engineering strategy across multiple systems, aligning quality outcomes with business and technology objectives
  • Define and execute a modern testing roadmap that includes functional, integration, regression, performance, and end-to-end validation
  • Embed quality practices into Agile delivery, ensuring testing is integrated into Scrum and Kanban workflows
  • Lead enterprise testing efforts by identifying risks, dependencies, and quality gaps, and guiding teams to timely resolution
  • Expand test automation to improve coverage, speed, and stability while reducing manual effort
  • Partner with engineering, product, data, and infrastructure teams to promote shared ownership of quality outcomes
  • Deliver clear reporting, metrics, and insights that drive informed decisions and continuous improvement
  • Mentor and coach team members on modern quality engineering practices, fostering growth and improving team capability

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in software quality engineering, testing, or related roles in complex enterprise environments
  • Strong knowledge of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), including test design, execution, defect management, and quality metrics
  • Proven experience leading end-to-end testing strategies across multiple systems and teams
  • Experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as JIRA
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills with the ability to translate business needs into quality solutions
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in healthcare, pharmacy benefit management, or health plan environments
  • Hands-on experience with test automation tools such as Java or JavaScript frameworks, Cypress, Cucumber, TestNG, or similar
  • Familiarity with performance, security, GRC process, Onspring, ServiceNow VR and risk-based testing approaches
  • Experience working in Agile and DevOps / DevSecOps environments
  • Exposure to AI-enabled testing tools or advanced quality engineering solutions - AI Tools such as AccelQ, Appvance, LambdaTest, Cursor etc
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)


If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 130,200 - 217,000 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
