We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Engineer with expertise in Workday Recruiting and Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) to join our dynamic team. As a Lead Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing solutions that enhance our HR and recruiting processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of Workday systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the design, development, and implementation of Workday Recruiting, WD Talent and Workday HCM solutions.
* Collaborate with product, designers, product managers, and business systems analysts.
* Ensure the seamless integration of Workday systems with other enterprise applications.
* Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and team members.
* Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to Workday systems.
* Stay up-to-date with the latest Workday features, enhancements, and best practices.
* Conduct regular system audits and ensure data integrity and security.
* Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and user guides.
* Participate in project planning, estimation, and risk management activities.
Required experience:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
* Proven experience as a Lead Engineer or similar role, with a focus on Workday Recruiting, Workday Talent and Workday HCM.
* In-depth knowledge of Workday architecture, configuration, and integration.
* Experience with Workday Integration Studio, EIB, and Workday Report Writer.
* Experience in leading at least 2 full life cycle Workday implementations.
* Excellent working knowledge of Workday Security, Business Processes, Reports, Calc Fields, Integrations framework, Studio, BIRT
* Experience with Workday Extend and Workday orchestration
* 10+ years of implementation experience in Workday Integrations and Workday Recruiting.
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
* Workday certification(s) in Recruiting, Talent and HCM
Desired experience and qualifications:
* Experience with Workday Adaptive Workforce Planning
* Experience with Workday Extend and Workday orchestration
* Experience in following technologies - Typescript, Bolt.js, Node.js, Jest, Git (Github)
* Master’s degree - ideally in Computer Science, Engineering or MIS
* Experience working in and around the software-as-a-service and platform-as-a-service architectures and/or industry
