This outlines the UI focused LMTS role we are hiring in the Hyderabad team, role expectations, the interview loop structure, and expectations for the interviewers.
The role is for a LMTS position for a small team of 3 to 4 engineers ( including the LMTS). This small team will own CloudHub and Runtime Manager UI. These are platform services/capabilities that are customer facing. The person filling this role will be expected to lead /make technical decisions in the front end , mentor/coach the junior engineers on the team, design testing strategy for the UI, optimize CDN/Asset distribution infrastructure and instill operational excellence for the UI components owned. The engineer will be responsible for working closely with the engineering manager to prioritize paying down technical debt, UI performance optimization and making the user experience better for customers.
Must have:
Overall 10+ years of experience in front end engineer
Hands on & Proficient in front end systems, coding ( Typescript)
Ability to mentor / coach other engineers and deliver through others
Ability to influence API design and response models to optimize for best UI experience
Knowledge about UI testing ( Automated testing)
Nice to Have
DevOps & CI/CD Literacy: The ability to go beyond the code and optimize CI/CD for accelerating delivery
Hiring & Interviews: Experience conducting technical interviews or building interview rubrics.
Metrics/Adoption: Ability to instrument "business logic" metrics (e.g., “How many users clicked ‘Checkout’ but didn't finish?”) to identify UI friction
