We are seeking a Software Engineer Intern who thrives in collaborative team settings and is passionate about developing scalable, cloud-native applications and platforms to support our growing business needs. The ideal candidate will possess a good understanding of modern technical concepts, a meticulous eye for detail, and a strong commitment to data accuracy and insightful analysis. They should also be highly self-driven, exhibit exceptional communication skills, and work with a strong sense of urgency and integrity.
Global Technology Engineers will support various functions across the enterprise. The ideal candidate must be a strategic problem solver with the ability to see the big picture and the impact technology has across the entire organization. The engineer must possess an enthusiasm for consumer facing digital technology and innovation and be able to listen and communicate effectively with both business and technical teams.
• Pursuing Engineering in computer science, engineering, information sciences or related field
• Students with a graduation date of July 2026 and Intern from Jan to June 2026
• Strong understanding of designing and implementing web/mobile applications
• Ability to write computer code that is correct, well tested, and easy-to-read

Evangelize and cultivate adoption of GPaaS, open source software and agile principles within the organization
Ensure solutions are designed and developed using a scalable, highly resilient cloud native architecture
Deliver well-documented and well-tested code, and participate in peer code reviews
Design and develop tools and frameworks to improve security, reliability, maintainability, availability and performance for the technology foundation of our platform
Develop and maintain web applications using modern frameworks and technologies.
Knowledge of one or more computer programming languages like Java, Python, React, Swift, JavaScript, NodeJS.
Understanding cloud-based environment (e.g. Amazon EC2, GCE, Rackspace,
Azure, etc.)
Knowledge of Relational and Non-Relational data base technologies like Oracle,
MS-SQL, NoSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra
Being familiar with SAP platform and/or Warehouse Management Systems
Keen attention to detail with a growth mindset and the desire to explore new technologies.
Experience in AWS-based microservices and NoSQL databases.
Experience in automated unit, performance, and integration testing.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps skills.
Understanding of version control systems (Git).
Excellent verbal and written communication and collaboration skills.
Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn new technologies.
Keen attention to detail with a growth mindset and the desire to explore new technologies.
Exposure to GenAI concepts and tools (e.g., LLM APIs, prompt engineering, AI model integration) is a plus.
Develop and maintain enterprise platforms to support Nike consumers and customers.

Build responsive UI components and integrate them with backend services.

Assist in troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing application performance.
Participate in peer code reviews and contribute to improving development best practices.
Design and develop tools and frameworks to improve security, reliability, maintainability, availability, and performance.
