We are looking for a smart, quick-learning, and talented individual who takes a service-oriented approach to their work and is passionate about technology, issue solving and communication. In this role you will work as part of responsible for process automating, supporting, and problem solving for a distributed scraping application on cloud native technology stack.
Current skills using automation tools for our active code bases are required. These include Python, SQL, HTML, CSS, JSON, XML, Bash, and Batch.
Proficiency in using SQL & scraping is key to this role and strong skills are required.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate accountability, problem solving and quickly learning.
Learn and fully understand the scraping application technology and business logic.
Understand the up and down streaming application, including but not limited to the interface, protocol, integrating timing, data size, etc.
Monitor the scraping application status in an active way and alert if any failure.
Solve the problems in scraping applications to ensure application working as expected (including generating outputs normally).
Maintain and update the configuration of scraping logic
Automation, configuration, monitoring and troubleshooting of cloud-based Linux and Windows Systems
Collaborate with geographically dispersed, cross-functional teams to streamline workflows
Communication with stakeholders from different roles
Support business users with technical issues
Identify root causes for technical problems and continuously refine operating model
Document and update workflows and operating procedures
A successful candidate will be service-focused, a team player, eager to learn new technologies, skilled in Windows/Linux scripting, familiar with automation techniques, and exceptional at helping people find innovative solutions to challenging problems.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology (or similar) or equivalent experience
Experience with Windows/Linux scripting tools, database queries
Know of modern software development methodologies and tools (IDEs, GIT, Jira, Confluence, agile, scrum, CI/CD, etc.)
Strong English communication skills
Great communicator and an ability to thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment
Independent thinker and problem solver with good attention to detail
Service-oriented with a passion for quality
Experience with Python programming is preferred
