Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Engineer to join our dynamic team in the Transaction Banking Technology space. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working across multiple software platforms and implementing SaaS solutions. This role involves contributing to the design, development, and integration of enterprise systems across various initiatives.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong technical proficiency, a collaborative mindset, and a commitment to delivering scalable and high-availability solutions. You will work closely with global cross-functional teams to ensure seamless system integration and platform reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to technical planning and architectural decisions for mission-critical systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance improvements (e.g., achieving significant efficiency gains in processing speed).
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand project requirements, scope, and objectives, translating them into actionable technical solutions.
  • Develop and maintain Java-based web and enterprise applications using frameworks like Spring Boot and integrate messaging systems such as Kafka and IBM MQ.
  • Implement performance tuning strategies and monitor system health using tools like Splunk and SonarQube, driving continuous improvement and incident resolution.
  • Support system upgrades and platform scalability initiatives across legacy and modern architectures.
  • Implement SaaS-based platforms and ensure adherence to best practices for secure, high-quality delivery.
  • Maintain compliance with industry standards and internal governance, ensuring robust security and regulatory alignment.
  • Partner with other technology teams to uphold development best practices, code quality, and test coverage.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience across enterprise systems.
  • Proven expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and SQL, with additional experience in REST API, Angular, JavaScript, and Docker.
  • Experience in Agile DevOps teams as Lead developer.
  • Strong background in enterprise application development, including backend API design, microservices, and database architecture.
  • Demonstrated success in optimizing system performance.
  • Skilled in cloud-based development and hybrid infrastructure.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a track record of delivering high-impact solutions.
  • Adept at cross-functional collaboration, stakeholder engagement, and incident resolution.
  • Experience in adapting to evolving requirements and driving product innovation.

Education:

•Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely-related discipline, or an equivalent combination of formal education and experience

The typical base pay range for this role is between $108k - $145k depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonuses and/or incentive compensation.
