The job profile for this position is Software Engineering Advisor, which is a Band 4 Senior Contributor Career Track Role with Cigna-Evernorth Services Inc.
Responsibilities-
• Design and develop application vision, design technical approach, and elicit requirements for new automation capabilities and process orchestration to initiate new Prescription Benefit Management (PBM) projects;
• Prepare Pega workflow designs and interface design documents, including Interface Control Documents (ICD), data mapping documents, workflow design documents, Application Programming Interface (API) specification documents and authorization rules documentation;
• Support system integration between medical/pharmacy drug claims data platforms and other enterprise systems;
• Utilize exception handling, failover, and retrial strategies to produce strategies for error handling flows, queue processors, job schedules, and load balancers;
• Participate in sprint planning, user story sizing, velocity estimation, backlog maintenance and user story assignment;
• Provide technical governance to create and maintain technical enterprise assets, including reusable components, integration connectors, enterprise data models, and DevOps scripts, that promote reusability and coding standards which meet enterprise technical and functional requirements;
• Conduct in-depth analysis of system dependencies, integration points, and business rules to mitigate risk and ensure smooth control process and implementation changes;
• Ensure healthcare web application change releases are communicated to all stake holders;
• Identify and conduct gap analysis to optimize the process and user experiences;
• Create web application profiles by designing the enterprise class structure and organization layers, user access control, and routing logic strategies;
• Perform user story code development and programming, unit testing, defect fixing, QA and UAT Support, release planning, production deployment, and implementation support; and
• Drive requirement gathering sessions with business users and stakeholders and conduct technical feasibility analyses to ensure requirements can be realized.

Qualifications-
• Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related;
• 3 years of full-stack web application development experience within the Prescription Benefit Management (PBM) domain related to Medicaid and Medicare insurance programs;
• Or a Bachelor’s degree and 5 years in the same;
• Experience with Pega Rules Process Commander (PRPC);
• Experience with User Interface (UI) development;
• Experience with Application Programming Interface (API) development;
• Experience with database management;
• Experience with DevOps;
• Experience with Business Project Management (BPM);
• Experience with sprint planning;
• Experience with Oracle;
• Experience with exception handling;
• Experience with failover strategies;
• Experience with retrial strategies;
• Experience with user story code development;
• Experience with enterprise class structure;
• Experience with user access control strategies;
• Experience with Quality Assurance (QA) support; and
