We are seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our team as we accelerate the development of our nextgeneration Compliance Engine for EH&S solution, an enterprise-grade solution certified for SAP S/4HANA 

 

The Sphera Compliance Engine for EH&S is an integrated pre-packaged product compliance suite for SAP EH&S that delivers regulatory data, rule sets, phrases, templates and content editing/configuration tools in order to automate the generation of compliant global regulatory documents, such as Safety Data Sheets (SDSs), out-of-the-box 

 

Responsibilities:  

  • Contribute as part of an agile team to our existing solution through maintenance, automation, regulatory updates, and complex mapping work, while progressively taking on new development responsibilities within our nextgeneration solution. 

  • Write and maintain comprehensive unit test and integration tests. 

  • Collaborate closely with QA teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues. 

  • Collaborate with technical writers to ensure product changes, regulatory updates, and new features are accurately documented. 

  • Provide input for project estimation, planning, and reporting of development progress. 

  • Continuously expand knowledge in relevant technical stacks and business domains. 

Required Education:  

  • University degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent experience. 

 Required Experience:  

  • 3+ years of professional software development using modern technologies, frameworks, and tools. 

  • Experience with SAP development, including ABAP, Transports and BC Sets. 

  • Experience with the SAP EH&S module, including WWI and Property Tree. 

  • Experience with complex XML data mapping and transformations workflow. 

  • Experience with Windows service and desktop application development in .NET (C#, WPF) 

  • Experience in database programming (.NET LINQ, SQL). 

  • Working knowledge of Azure DevOps for project tracking and pipelines. 

  • Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
