As a member of the Security Features team, you will join the Security Features Development department under the Endpoint Solutions and Technology Division. Involved in multiple projects your main responsibilities will cover the development and support of solutions tightly bundled with browser protection, privacy and more.
Job description
You will be directly involved in the development of browser extensions and privacy protection projects and will cooperate with a variety of stakeholders from different teams, work independently as well as a part of your organization unit.
We are looking for a motivated technology enthusiast ready to learn new things who will help us to achieve our goals and grow as an expert in the entrusted responsibilities.
As a Software Engineer in the Security features team, your goals will cover:
- Development and support of browser extensions for our privacy protection projects
- Participation on the development of associated components of our products
- Design and implementation of automatization tools for development and operational tasks
- Participation on code reviews, technical analysis and research
Qualifications:
- Advanced JavaScript programming
- Demonstrated expertise in Python development
- Practical experience with development of browser extensions (Chrome, Firefox) or willingness to grow in this area
- Understanding of common network protocols and web application development (HTML, CSS, DOM and web standards)
Not required, but nice to have:
- Insight into browser ecosystems and evolving technologies across different vendors
- Insight into common data analytics approaches or practical experience in this area
- Experience with Atlassian products (Jira / Confluence) and Git
Experience, skills and other requirements specific to the role:
- Intermediate/Advanced English
- Analytical thinking, conceptual and systematic approach
- Knowledge of algorithms and data structures
- Willingness to learn new things, open mind

Basic wage component (brutto): from 2400 EUR/month (brutto)
*Performance bonus 2 times per year up to 10% of the basic salary paid for the evaluation period(usually 6 months).
*The final basic wage component can be higher accordingly to individual skills and experience of selected candidate.
