Being a part of the Infobip Engineering department means working on an in-house developed product and delivering solutions on a global level. If you are a student in the higher or final year of studies in the field of IT, join our software engineering internship program that starts in July 2026 and get a chance to land your first job at Infobip.
What this role is all about:
As a Software Engineer Intern on the Voice team, you will work on one of the most technically demanding parts of the Infobip platform — the systems that power real-time voice communication for businesses and their customers around the world.
Voice is at the core of how people connect. At Infobip, our Voice platform handles millions of calls daily, spanning outbound and inbound call flows, Interactive Voice Response (IVR) systems, text-to-speech, speech recognition, and SIP-based infrastructure. Working on these systems means working with low-latency, high-availability requirements where reliability is not optional — it is the standard.
As part of the team, you will contribute to building and improving the services that sit behind every voice interaction on our platform. You will learn how real-time communication systems are designed and maintained at scale, gain hands-on experience with backend development in a distributed environment, and understand the engineering trade-offs that come with building systems where every millisecond matters.
You will work alongside senior engineers who will guide you through the codebase, share their knowledge, and give you meaningful tasks from day one — not just bug fixes, but real contributions to the product used by thousands of businesses worldwide.
At our software engineering internship program you will:
Learn about different technology stacks based on your interest
Work with Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Javascript (React or Vue) or C#, .NET Core
Contribute to your team services and directly impact the quality of our products
Write well designed, testable and scalable code in accordance to clean code principles
Use technologies you need to put your code to action such as Git, Maven and Jenkins
Work in agile environment and learn about agile methodologies
What makes you a strong fit:
You are currently studying software engineering (eg. computer science, mathematics)
You are a graduate (MA) or final year undergraduate (BA) student
You can work full-time
Nice to have qualifications:
Have a GitHub profile with projects to show
Have participated in student projects, Hackathons, workshops, or other activities
Have already participated in some internship programs
Are fluent in English, speak at a conversational level
Internship timeline:
Application deadline (mid of May)
Imocha online testing (By the end of May)
Interviews and selection process feedback (end of May – first part of June)
Start of internship program (July 6th)
Orientation week in Zagreb Infobip campus (July 6th - 17th) – Don't worry, we will cover accommodation for you!
Working with the mentor and within a team (July - January) – Sarajevo office
End of the Internship program (January)
