Job Description

Design, develop, and innovate with us! As a Software Engineer Intern at Rockwell Automation, you'll help build advanced software solutions for a next-generation visualization platform. You will create and test Python-based tools, using AI-driven approaches, and supporting continuous integration workflows. This is your chance to gain hands-on experience in software development, troubleshooting, and automation within a global technology leader. If you're available for 20 hours per week, we're looking for you!

Internship starts in February or March. During paid internship you will report to the Manager Software Development. We offer you flexible working hours with a hybrid work model based in Katowice, Poland

Your Responsibilities:

• Develop AI-driven solutions and tools in Python
• Create and maintain automated tests in Python
• Support the software team in the CI environment by keeping tests up to date, executing them regularly, and reporting results

The Essentials – You Will Have:

• Active student status (for at least 6 months)
• Experience with Python programming
• Basic knowledge of AI and machine learning principles
• Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
• Basic familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology
• English and Polish language proficiency
• Legal work and stay permits in Poland

The Preferred – You Might Also Have:

• Knowledge of CI/CD tools and practices
• Experience with test automation frameworks
• Preferred final year student
