What You’ll Do

Build & Enhance Software Solutions

  • Design, implement, test, and deliver high-quality software applications and systems
  • Apply strong architectural and coding principles to ensure scalability, maintainability, and security
  • Identify and address technical debt, improving performance, readability, and developer experience
  • Troubleshoot and resolve defects within your team’s areas of ownership

Collaborate & Deliver

  • Participate in code reviews—giving and receiving constructive feedback
  • Plan and prioritize work to ensure consistent, reliable delivery
  • Communicate progress, risks, and solutions clearly with teammates and stakeholders

Support Production Systems

  • Assist in investigating and resolving production issues during business hours
  • Contribute to post-incident reviews and continuous improvement efforts

Grow as a Technical Contributor

  • Develop expertise in key areas and act as a resource within your team
  • Support and mentor junior team members when needed

Continuously Learn

  • Actively build your skills, seek feedback, and embrace new challenges
  • Stay current with evolving technologies and best practices

What You Bring

  • 2+ years of commercial software development experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong understanding of software design principles, algorithms, and data structures
  • Proficiency in one or more languages such as C++, C#, Python, or JavaScript
  • Experience with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and frameworks like React, Vue.js, .NET Core, or Node.js
  • Strong English communication skills (written and verbal)

This position is onsite at our State College, PA headquarters, remote work is not an option.

PAID TIME OFF:  Paid holidays, as well as 4 weeks of annual paid time off are provided. The annual paid time off increases one week every five years.
