YOU ARE
Genuinely curious — you ask why, not just whether. You want to understand why a tag fires in a specific sequence, what the Liquid personalization token is supposed to render for a given profile, and what a consent mode change means downstream for pixel data. You treat every testability gap as a signal worth investigating, not an obstacle to work around.
Shift-left by default. You don't wait for a build to find problems. You read acceptance criteria like an auditor — spotting what's missing, what's ambiguous, and what will create a defect if it isn't clarified before dev starts. Refinement is where your value shows up first.
A master of async defect communication. You file bugs the way a distributed team needs you to — self-contained, structured, and immediately actionable. A QA defect in your queue is never a mystery that needs a Zoom call to decode. Your documentation is your reputation.
Globally minded, with experience working on geographically distributed teams. You understand the discipline, cadence, and over-communication required to make a US–India collaboration genuinely cohesive — and you've built those habits in practice.
Methodical and detail-oriented — you understand that a missed pixel fire or a broken personalization token has real downstream consequences for marketing measurement and campaign performance. You bring that care to every test case you write and every defect you file.
A collaborative teammate, comfortable working across engineering, product, analytics, and marketing functions within a globally distributed model. You don't stay in a QA swim lane — you go where quality needs attention.
YOU HAVE
Bachelor’s Degree required Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
2 – 4 years’ experience
Proficiency with Postman for API testing — structured request/response validation, test data generation, role-based access checks, and SLA timing verification.
Experience with email QA — template render testing using Email on Acid, Litmus, or equivalent; familiarity with ESP platform testing (Zeta, Braze, Emarsys, or similar).
Working knowledge of tag management QA — understanding what tag management systems do, how to use browser developer tools to validate tag fires, and how to read data layer objects against a specification. Experience with the Adobe Experience Platform Debugger or equivalent tag debugging tooling is strongly preferred.
Solid understanding of agile/Scrum delivery — shift-left quality practices, sprint ceremony participation, Definition of Ready and Definition of Done as quality gates, QA sizing in sprint planning.
Experience with Jira for defect tracking, defect lifecycle management, and sprint ticket status workflows.
Experience testing across a multi-phase test lifecycle: QA → SIT → UAT → E2E → Production validation.
Demonstrated experience working on a globally distributed or cross-timezone team — including a US–India GCC model, offshore delivery, or equivalent. Prior experience collaborating with remote stakeholders is strongly preferred.
Strong written and verbal English communication skills — including the ability to write async-friendly defect reports, test status updates, and QA documentation that remote teammates can act on independently without a live call.
Nice to Have
Experience with Adobe Analytics validation — understanding how events, eVars, props, and conversion metrics are captured and how to confirm accuracy against a measurement plan (SDR).
Familiarity with OneTrust or consent management platforms and how they gate tag firing (GDPR/CCPA context).
Experience testing on Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) — navigating Business Manager for test data setup, order creation, and profile configuration.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline integration for test automation — CircleCI, GitHub Actions, or equivalent; understanding of artifact reporting and suite segmentation (smoke, regression, integration).
Exposure to Liquid templating in ESP platforms — ability to validate personalization logic and token rendering in email templates.
