Software Engineer II (Full Stack)

This role is based in Pune and requires you to work from office at least 3 days a week.
What you could get to do every day:
Communicate and collaborate effectively with the team to understand technical problems and contribute to simple solutions.
Use sound methodologies at every stage of the development cycle, including participating in technical design, pair programming, peer code review, documenting, testing, and continuous integration.
Collaborate with product management and senior engineers to implement solutions from concept through development, QA, staging, and production deployment.
Ensure timely delivery of assigned tasks, debug code, maintain code quality, and proactively seek guidance to unblock tasks.
Follow best practices in all our frameworks and tools for both frontend and backend development.
Contribute to proper test coverage and champion code stability and reliability while shipping code frequently.
Actively participate in code reviews and design discussions.
Partner across all areas of the SDLC, focusing on building services and solutions under guidance.
Work within teams to learn and integrate new libraries, tools, and workflows across the full stack.
Share the responsibility of maintaining the systems built by the team.
What we’d love you to have:
Proficiency in one or more backend programming languages - Java, Ruby on Rails, Python, Golang, NodeJS, Typescript, Scala etc.
Knowledge of frontend technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks like React, Vue, or Angular).
Experience with effective AI tools assisting in developer productivity is a plus.
Fast learner with 2+ years of hands-on coding experience.
Experience contributing to the design, development, and implementation of software solutions.
Experience with unit testing and test-driven development.
Eagerness to work with team members of various experiences and skill sets.
Strong collaboration skills and enjoys working with others to get the desired outcome.
Good problem-solving skills with the ability to seek help and contribute to discussions.
Ability to work with some ambiguity.
Good communication skills.

Hybrid: In this role, our hybrid experience is designed at the team level to give you a rich onsite experience packed with connection, collaboration, learning, and celebration - while also giving you flexibility to work remotely for part of the week. This role must attend our local office for part of the week. The specific in-office schedule is to be determined by the hiring manager.
