Software Engineer - Fullstack

 

Job summary

We’re building DigiCert’s next-generation AI Security & Trust Infrastructure — a cloud-native platform that extends digital trust to AI models, agents, and software ecosystems.

 

What you will do

• Design and build backend services in Go or Python for high-throughput DNS ingestion and analysis.
• Develop React-based UIs for real-time dashboards and customer-facing workflows.
• Implement and maintain streaming pipelines using Kafka or similar technologies.
• Build clean, secure APIs consumed by internal UIs and external SIEM systems (Splunk, Sentinel, QRadar).
• Work with read/write-heavy data stores, caching layers, and performance optimizations.
• Containerize services using Docker and deploy on Kubernetes.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and release workflows.
• Instrument services and UIs with metrics, logs, and traces for observability.
• Use AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., Claude Code, Copilot, similar) responsibly to improve development speed, code quality, and test coverage.
• Participate in code reviews, on-call rotations, and production issue resolution

 

What you will have

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience building full-stack applications, with hands-on work in:
  • js (or similar modern frontend frameworks)
  • Go or Python for backend services
• Working knowledge of microservices and distributed systems.
• Experience with Kafka or streaming systems (or strong fundamentals and willingness to learn).
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes in development or production environments.
• Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases, indexing, and basic performance tuning.
• Ability to design and consume RESTful APIs
• Comfort using AI-assisted development tools to accelerate implementation while maintaining correctness and security.
• Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn from production systems

 

Nice to have

• Exposure to DNS, networking, or security telemetry.
• Familiarity with SIEM integrations or log analytics platforms.
• Experience building real-time or near-real-time UIs (WebSockets, SSE).
