We are looking for a Software Intern, Data Center Compute Software Tools. What you’ll be doing:
Working with a global team of Datacenter Tool developers on NVIDIA server designs.
Design and develop Tools for Datacenter Software and Firmware solutions.
Instrumenting code to ensure maximum code coverage, writing and automating unit tests for each implemented module and maintain detailed unit test case reports.
Providing software quality reports based on static analysis, code coverage, CPU load.
Working closely with hardware teams to influence hardware design and review HW architecture & schematics.
Collaborate with QA/Test architects to come up with proper test tools and automation for qualifying the whole system software and firmware stack.
What we need to see:
MS, or PhD in EE/CS or related field of education with active development using Python and C/C++ as primary programming language using Linux as OS.
System knowledge - how platform management works - areas like BMC-BIOS communication, thermal management, power management, firmware update, device monitoring, firmware security, etc.
Experience with bash/python scripting and debugging skills in Linux operating environments.
Experience in Git operation.
Possess excellent written and oral communication skills, good work ethics, a high sense of teamwork and love to produce quality work and commitment to finish your tasks every single day.
You are a self-starter who loves to find creative solutions to complicated problems.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
Hands on with x86 or ARM system architecture.
Familiarity with the architecture of datacenter server hardware and experience with the in-band and out-of-band management of firmware and hardware components.
Understanding on REST architecture style especially JSON over HTTPs with OAuth
