Social Finance, LLC seeks Software Engineer, Cloud Platform in San Francisco, CA:
Job Duties: Own and ideate on technical solutions for platform requirements and user stories. Participate heavily in code and design reviews. Generate ideas for new initiatives and technologies. Become domain experts on infrastructure platforms. Collaborate and represent platform engineering with stakeholders in engineering, operations, legal, and compliance. Monitor system performance and implement optimizations to ensure high availability and scalability. Contribute to the design and development of a unified platform for orchestration, compute, storage, networking, and authentication on AWS, leveraging infrastructure-as-code tools. Proactively tackle diverse and complex technical challenges by applying creative problem-solving and sound judgment, considering trade-offs and making principle-based decisions. Full-time telecommuting is an option.
Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
Special Skill Requirements: (1) Java; (2) Kotlin; (3) Microservices; (4) Spring Boot; (5) AWS; (6) Scala; (7) Airflow; (8) Zookeeper; (9) Flutter; (10) GCP; (11) Terraform; (12) Python; (13) Kubernetes. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Full-time telecommuting is an option.
Salary: $166,000.00 - $182,600.00 per annum & standard company benefits.
