We’re hiring a Software Engineer focused on automation and cloud/CI/CD to reduce operational toil, standardize pipelines and environments, and accelerate delivery across multiple product teams. You’ll work side-by-side with senior engineers, building reusable automation that improves reliability and developer experience.We’re hiring a mid-level Software Engineer with interest in automation, cloud environments, and CI/CD enablement.
This role focuses on building software and automation that improves delivery speed, standardizes environments, and reduces repetitive operational work across product teams.
You will work closely with backend engineers to create reusable tooling, improve pipelines, and help teams ship reliably and consistently.

Preferred: JavaScript / TypeScript or Python
Experience building backend services or internal tooling
Good understanding of clean code, modular design, and version control (Git)
Comfortable working in Linux-based environments
Experience using GitHub Actions or similar CI/CD platforms
Understanding of build, test, and release workflows
Ability to automate repetitive development tasks
Familiarity with scripting (Shell/Bash)
Experience with Google Cloud Platform (preferred), AWS, or Azure
Basic understanding of cloud services (compute, storage, IAM)
Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)
Experience provisioning or configuring cloud environments is a plus
Docker
Understanding of environment separation (dev, uat, staging, prod)
Ability to support and standardize non-production environments
Basic knowledge of secrets management and access control
Understanding of automated testing in pipelines
Familiarity with code scanning or dependency scanning tools is a plus
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support multiple engineering teams
Develop automation scripts and internal tools to reduce manual work
Help standardize cloud environments using Infrastructure as Code
Improve developer experience by simplifying setup, build, and release processes
Support development and non-production environments with reliable automation
Collaborate with senior engineers to continuously improve delivery workflows
Contribute to documentation, playbooks, and automation standards
Promote an automation-first mindset to increase engineering efficiency
Complete all assigned, mandatory training within the timeframe provided.
Conduct and/or participate in regularly scheduled 1:1 meetings with your direct manager and/or direct reports
