Your mission:

An apprenticeship opportunity titled : “Software Engineering Graduate” has just opened at Airbus India located in Bangalore. You will join the “Engineering & PLM” department in charge of building nextgen solutions to help our engineering customers.

Ideally, this is a 12-month program and it should start in [June 2026] (date subject to flexibility).

Your main missions will consist of :

● Being a software Engineer

• Assemble and edit source code repositories to develop a software stack for the product needs.

• Development for fixing defects and new requirements.

• Migration of applications to new tools as required on projects and initiatives.

• Respects the standards and structure of the given solution and the environment. 

• Develops design specifications and parameters that are in compliance with products’ architectural blueprints. 

OR

● Being a Business Analyst

• Provide functional and process expertise in relation to PLM applications.

• Provide lifecycle management support (requirements, documentation, integration, test and acceptance) for project deployment activities as applicable.

• Identify, tailor, optimize and apply relevant processes, methods and tools according to the type of programme/ project (size, context, complexity, etc.). This includes any agile methodologies (agile scrum or scaled agile: SAFe, scrum of scrum, etc.), and also the context of hybrid projects,  where the successful integration of multiple work packages developed applying different methodologies is needed.

• Troubleshooting and resolving incidents while collaborating with the development and IT teams to minimise downtime and maintain service quality.

• Manage Functional Support within agreed SLA / OLA.

Your tutor will support you identify your professional objectives and develop your skills

This apprenticeship will allow you to develop the following skills:

• Industry ready engineer to unleash potential in the industry

• Experienced software engineer or business analyst (depends on path) with hands-on working experience of navigating through cross-functional, cross-geo teams

• Master of design thinking, solution-oriented mindset

• Hands-on coding experience of technology & skillset (example - Python full stack, java full stack, business analysis)

Eligibility Criteria:

• You are a Fresh Graduate (Technical Under Graduate or Post Graduate) in [Year 2025 Or 2026].

• Zero Work Experience: This program is exclusively for candidates with no prior full-time professional work experience. (Internships and academic projects are excluded from this and are welcome).

• Commitment: Ability to commit to the full 12-month duration of the apprenticeship.

You possess the following competences:

- Technical skills :

Software Engineer-

• Python, Angular, RestAPIs

• Cloud Technologies (AWS, Openshift).

•  Responsive Web Design using HTML5, CSS3, JS

• Experience in designing and implementing Single Page Application

• Experience in asynchronous programming 

• Understand handling HTTP requests and responses.

• Experience with version control systems like Git 

• Strong organization, problem solving, debugging and interpersonal skills.

• Proven track record of building and maintaining applications at scale.

Business Analyst role - 

• Strong understanding of business, systems & iIntegration with other systems.

• Technical/Functional Knowledge on Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) domain.

• Knowledge of IIncident Management, Problem Management, Escalation Management process

• Good understanding of SLA, OLA, KPI and its objectives.

• E2E design release and archival process is an added advantage.
