The Opportunity
Our location in San Diego, California has an opportunity for a Software Engineer.
The Software Engineer role is within the RMDx R&D Software & Connectivity organization, working on diagnostic instrument products.
What You’ll Work On:
- Agile Execution: Deliver robust quality software (code reviewed, unit tested, detail design documents, well commented) to the planned schedule
- Documentation: Summarize and present details of designs in collaborative design reviews
- Security and Compliance: Follows all Abbott software coding standards and processes.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Mathematics or related field required.
- Related experience in Java software development, Linux operating systems or platform development and UI development preferably in React
- Experience with embedded software development is a plus
- Experience as an intern developing software is a plus
- Experience with writing unit tests for the code you develop
- Ability to come on site 5 days a week, San Diego office.

The base pay for this position is
$72,100.00 – $114,700.00
