As a Product Manager, you will lead the next generation of AI‑ and agent‑driven experiences in Workday People Analytics. Your work will turn workforce data into clear guidance and actions for HRBPs, managers, and business leaders, and will directly influence how we grow adoption and revenue for Analytics.
Responsibilities include :
Set vision & roadmap
Own the product vision and roadmap for People Analytics AI & Agents, turning high‑level strategy into a focused sequence of customer‑visible releases.
Lead end‑to‑end product delivery
Drive features from discovery to launch: validate problems with customers, define requirements and user journeys, work with engineering/ML/UX to build, and iterate based on real usage and feedback.
Partner across AI/ML & agents
Work closely with ML, data science, and the Self‑Service Agent platform to design agent skills and AI‑powered experiences that are reliable, explainable, and easy to use.
Shape user experience
Collaborate with UX to create intuitive conversational and analytic flows that help non‑technical users understand what’s happening, why it’s happening, and what to do next.
Own outcomes, not just output
Define and track success metrics (for example, answer quality, time‑to‑insight, adoption, attach/expansion) and use them to guide priorities, trade‑offs, and go/no‑go decisions.
Connect to market & revenue
Stay close to the external AI/analytics market and customer needs, and partner with product marketing and GTM on positioning, packaging, and monetization so that new AI/agent capabilities clearly contribute to Workday’s growth.
About You
You have a strong software engineering background and a proven track record of developing high quality products at scale into production.
You are comfortable working alongside our product and architecture organizations to clarify and prune requirements, delivering value incrementally and frequently
You have the ability to balance priorities and make the right tradeoffs in feature content and timely delivery of features, while ensuring customer success and technology leadership for the company
You are proactive and able to deliver on initiatives that are crucial for the teams success
You demonstrate the interpersonal skills needed to work collaboratively with cross functional team members and across teams
You have the ability to communicate technical complexity in simple terms to both technical and nontechnical audiences
You have the ability to produce technical design documents based on functional requirements
Basic Qualifications:
2+ years of experience with Workday Studio in building integrations with Workday
5+ years of software development experience using object-oriented programming languages like Java and familiarity with design patterns
Proficiency in test automation, quality engineering
Strong experience in functional testing of complex systems, including edge cases and failure scenarios
Proficiency with XML, XSLT, XPath, WSDL etc
Proficiency with API development using REST, SOAP
Proficient in supporting automated testing in continuous integration and delivery environments. (Jenkins, Bamboo, or similar)
Proficient with Git and collaborative development workflows
Experience with object data modeling and UML diagrams
Bachelor’s degree in computer science
Other Qualifications:
Experience working in an agile/scrum environment
Familiarity with performance measurement tools like Gatling is a plus
Familiarity with security analysis like threat modeling etc is a plus
Experience with AI tools is a plus
Familiarity with Xpresso is a plus
Experience in ERP application development is a plus
