We are seeking a Senior Engineer who will take ownership of the design and delivery of significant platform initiatives while also mentoring junior engineers. This role will serve as the primary technical contact for internal customers within the designated domains.

What we work on:

  • CI/CD platform at scale — driving a full Jenkins → GitHub Actions migration across thousands of weekly builds, with custom reusable workflow libraries and centralized governance
  • Developer onboarding & self-service — reducing new repo setup from days to minutes via automated templates, branch protection, and access management
  • Shift-left quality — integrating security scanning, coverage gates, and compliance automation directly into the build pipeline
  • Observability & metrics — build analytics, failure pattern detection, and platform health dashboards
  • Golden paths — standardized, opinionated delivery pipelines so teams spend time on product, not infrastructure

Problems we solve every day:

  • Designing caching strategies for dependency resolution across hundreds of build pipelines — where a wrong cache key means wasted minutes multiplied across every engineer's day
  • Debugging flaky CI failures that only reproduce at scale — tracing root causes through composite actions, runner environments, and upstream tool behavior
  • Balancing platform standardization with the diversity of 850+ engineers' workflows — building guardrails that feel like superpowers, not constraints
  • Making security and compliance invisible — so engineers get feedback in the PR, not in an audit six months later
  • Deciding when to build vs. adopt — evaluating tools like Backstage, DevLake, and AI coding assistants against real adoption risk and maintenance cost
  • Keeping platform uptime high while actively migrating live workloads — zero-downtime evolution of systems that teams depend on every build
