Primary Function:

The Software Developer I is responsible for constructing new, and maintaining existing, software modules, components, and utilities.

Principal Duties:

  • Constructs new, and maintains existing, software modules, components, and utilities.
  • Customizes locally hosted 3rd Party applications using existing APIs.
  • Participates in a small, collaborative, energetic team in a rapid, agile development environment.
  • Assists with deployment and integration of new systems where necessary.
  • Performs related duties as assigned by management.

Education and Experience:

Required education and experience.

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science is required.
  • Experience (coursework knowledge is acceptable) with Visual Studio (VB.NET, ASP.NET) and the .NET Framework constructing:
  • Web applications
  • Windows applications
  • SharePoint web parts
  • Knowledge of the following:
  • Software implementation best practices
  • N-tier architectures
  • Service-oriented architectures (SOA)
  • Experience/Coursework knowledge of working with MS SQL Server.
  • Experience with mortgage data and loan origination platforms preferred.
