Job Description:
Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Software Developer (f/m) to join our Flight Physics Capabilities for Handling Qualities & A/C Performance department based in Toulouse, France.
You will be part of a transnational team developing a rich portfolio of aircraft performance analysis software. As part of this strategic modernization initiative, you will be involved in the renewal of simulation kernels aiming at securing high-performance capabilities for future products.

Your challenges:
Designing and developing advanced software solutions for aircraft performance simulation kernels.
Re-architecting existing systems into unified, modular components to improve interoperability.
Standardizing data management frameworks and optimizing formats for a streamlined ecosystem.
Migrating legacy codebases to high-performance environments using C++.
Collaborating with cross-functional experts to implement complex flight physics algorithms into software solutions.
Your boarding pass:
Significant experience in software development, specifically within scientific computing or numerical simulation.
Advanced proficiency in C++ and modern programming languages suited for scientific calculations.
Proven expertise in data management, standardization, and data formats.
Familiarity with High-Performance Computing (HPC) or Cloud computing technologies.
English: Advanced level (C1/C2).
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative and agile environment.
