Northrop Grumman’s Chief Information & Digital Office (CIDO) is seeking a Level 2 (novice level) Software Development Analyst to support the Mixed Signal and RF electrical design and analysis tools (Cadence, Keysight, and Ansys) for multiple Northrop Grumman sector organizations (Space Systems, Aeronautics Systems, and Defense Systems).
Candidates will have experience and working knowledge of engineering applications, as well as knowledge in Windows and Linux operation systems. The candidate will be responsible for administration, installation, and troubleshooting of engineering applications on different computer environments. This position will be located in Redondo Beach, CA and will support both open area and classified area systems.
General speaking, the Software Analyst will research, design, develop, and/or modify enterprise-wide systems and/or applications software; Be involved in planning of system and development deployment, as well as responsible for meeting software compliance standards; Will evaluate interface between hardware and software, operational requirements, and characteristics of overall system; And documents testing and maintenance of system corrections.
Specific to this position, the selected candidate will be trained to deploy, support, customize, and maintain the suite of commercial applications used by the Electrical Engineering departments of the various sectors of Northrop Grumman. This will include Cadence, Keysight, and Ansys tool suites, as well as RF/Antenna tools (among others). The candidate will learn to read and be familiar with electrical engineering schematics, perform circuit analysis, and troubleshoot integrated circuit Process Design Kits (PDKs).

Primary Level Salary Range: $91,800.00 - $137,600.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
