Major Duties:
Qualifications: You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement. Specialized Experience: For the GS-15, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes: - Providing technical leadership and direction to a team of Java developers, technical leads, and software test engineers to ensure secure application design, development, and maintenance aligned with industry best practices in security policies and requirements; AND - Applying secure Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) practices-Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid-to ensure application development aligns with industry best practices in security, architecture, and technical issue resolution; AND - Leading enterprise level software design and implementation initiatives to ensure secure development practices and compliance with applicable security and privacy requirements. In addition to meeting specialized experience, applicants must also show proficiency in 1) attention to detail, 2) customer service, 3) oral communication, and 4) problem solving.
