Summary:
Facilitates assessments and dispositions for patients presenting to the emergency department and medical floor for psychiatric or chemical dependency evaluation. Collaborates with physicians and nursing staff to determine and coordinate appropriate level of care. Able to multi-task multiple different cases and has knowledge of psychiatric diagnosis and insurance authorization process.
 
Requirements:

  • Master’s in social work or related field required.  

  • CPI certified or completes de-escalation training prior to working and obtains CPI certification within 1 year of employment. 

  • CPR certified.  

  • LPC or LSW required; LCPC or LCSW preferred. 

  • Previous psychiatric and intake experience required.

The final pay rate offered may be more than the posted range based on several factors including but not limited to: licensure, certifications, work experience, education, knowledge, demonstrated abilities, internal equity, market data, and more.
