Location: Knowsley
Pay Rate: £42,839 per annum rising to £44,074 after 12 months (Full time and Part time)

Liquid Personnel is in partnership with a client in Knowsley to recruit a Social Worker for their Children Looked After Team.

What will your responsibilities be?

As a Children Looked After Social Worker you will be picking up cases from Initial Hearing and therefore you will be covering Court work without Child Protection or Child in Need. You would be expected to have a maximum of 3-4 sets of proceedings at one team. Within this team you will be offering permanency planning for Children.

Qualifications & Experience:

To be successful in this role you must have, 

  • Hold a Social Work England registration.
  • Be eligible to work in the UK.
  • Hold a full UK driving licence.
  • Social Work Qualification, degree or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years’ experience as a social worker within children’s services.
