Social Media Production and Publishing Manager | London

Role purpose 

 

Role responsibilities include, but are not limited to –  

Production Management

  • Oversee production for social content including shoots, smallscale productions, creator collaborations, and internal content requests

  • Building and manage relationships with external partners; set designers, creative directors, production agencies

  • Coordinate logistics, budgets, timelines, and assets with internal teams and external partners

  • Ensure all produced content adheres to Aesop’s creative and technical standards

Publishing & Calendar Management

  • Own the global social media content calendar, ensuring alignment between campaigns, alwayson content, and market needs

  • Manage scheduling and posting across platforms, respecting nuances of timing and format

  • Responsible of the production of all content kits through to delivery to the markets

  • Collaborate with the Creative Manager to ensure seamless handoff from ideation to production to publication

Analytics & Reporting

  • Monitor platform performance, KPIs, and content effectiveness to optimise future strategy

  • Prepare monthly and quarterly performance decks, distilling key insights and recommendations

  • Maintain dashboards and ensure accurate, timely reporting

Operational Excellence

  • Build and maintain efficient workflows for content production, asset tracking, approvals, and distribution

  • Ensure compliance with naming conventions, asset management protocols, and documentation

  • Support governance and bestpractice sharing with regional markets

Community Manager

  • Manage and engage Aesop’s social communities across all channels, fostering meaningful conversation, responding in a timely and considered manner, and identifying relevant trends to thoughtfully join consumer conversations.

This is a full-time position operating with a hybrid working pattern of three days per week on site, two days per week remote. 

 

What we are looking for 

 

  • Open mindset and deep curiosity seeking to understand others, listen without judgement and act on diverse perspectives 

  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and psychologically safe work environment 

  • Significant experience in social media production, publishing, or digital content operations

  • Proficiency in Adobe Suit (photoshop, InDesign etc)

  • Strong understanding of production processes: shoots, video/photo formats, equipment basics, and postproduction workflows

  • Highly organised with exceptional project management skills

  • Comfortable working with analytics tools (e.g., native platform insights, Sprinklr, Dash Hudson, or similar)

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights

  • Comfortable coordinating multiple stakeholders, timelines, and deliverables.
