OVERVIEW:
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Assist the Director and VP of Marketing in establishing a social media strategy across all platforms, focusing primarily on but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and Twitter.
Create content calendars, align and communicate plans with full marketing team (e.g. partnerships, marketing design, product marketing) and cross-functional partners (CX, product, engineering, legal), as well as DICK’S Sporting Goods social media and PR teams.
Create and post social media content, including use of video and graphics editing software, coordination and approval with content providers, and management of social posting software (e.g. Sprout).
Monitor social media performance analytics; create and share performance reporting on a weekly and monthly basis. Coordinate performance analysis and optimization improvements with media agency.
Respond and engage with social media community on a frequent (3-5x per day) and on-going basis to foster engagement and build an identity as a social-forward brand.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree
3-5 years experience
YouTube
Social posting/monitoring tools (e.g. Sprout, Hootsuite)
Video, graphics editing tools
Video and graphics production
Social media ad buying and performance measurement
