Position Summary:

Florida Atlantic University is seeking a Social Media Intern - Boca Raton, FL.

The Social Media Intern supports Campus Recreation by developing and executing creative, engaging content across multiple social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube.

Summary of responsibilities:

  • Developing effective strategies for enhancing engagement via social media with considerations for target audiences (students, prospective students/parents, alumni, and the campus community).

  • Creating, curating, and posting social media messaging and help with social media campaigns.

  • Staying current with emerging social media trends and evaluate their potential use for Campus Recreation.

  • Taking photographs and/or video at events.

  • Providing coverage for Campus Recreation tabling events.

  • Willingly receiving input and feedback on work produced.

  • Other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

FAU degree-seeking undergraduate student with a minimum of six credit hours (or twelve if international) and a 2.5 GPA required.

Salary:

$14.00 per hour.

Monday - Saturday 8:00am - 7:00pm Early morning, late nights and weekends required.
