Insomnia Cookies is looking for a Social Media Coordinator to support the day-to-day execution and evolution of our social media presence across platforms. This role is hands-on, fast-paced, and highly collaborative—perfect for someone who lives and breathes social content, community engagement, and internet culture.
You’ll support organic and paid social initiatives, create platform-specific content, foster meaningful community engagement, and help ensure Insomnia’s voice stays authentic, timely, and unmistakably on-brand. From trend spotting and content creation to reporting and influencer support, this role helps bring our social strategy to life.

Key Responsibilities:
Social Media Execution & Content Creation
· Support the management and daily execution of Insomnia Cookies’ social media channels across platforms.
· Develop engaging content ideas for both organic and paid social campaigns, aligned with brand voice and campaign goals.
· Create and execute static and video content using platform-specific tools and native features.
· Assist in writing, scheduling, and publishing branded copy that drives engagement and supports key initiatives.
· Attend photo and video shoots as needed to support content creation.
Community Engagement & Brand Presence
· Foster community engagement by initiating conversation and responding to comments and direct messages in a timely, brand-appropriate manner.
· Proactively seek engagement opportunities beyond Insomnia’s owned channels, including influencer, brand, and community spaces.
· Support social listening efforts to monitor sentiment, trends, and emerging conversations relevant to the brand.
Influencer, Partnerships & UGC Support
· Assist with influencer and partnership marketing initiatives, including outreach support, product coordination, content tracking, and campaign documentation.
· Support sourcing, requesting permissions for, organizing, and labeling user-generated content for brand use.
· Contribute to the planning, launch, and fulfillment of social sweepstakes and giveaways.
Reporting, Insights & Optimization
· Assist in reporting, data gathering, tagging, and content labeling to support performance tracking.
· Help monitor campaign performance, platform trends, and best practices to inform future content strategies.
· Support A/B testing of formats, captions, creative, and posting times to optimize engagement.
Platform Knowledge & Brand Protection
· Maintain a strong working knowledge of platform-specific best practices across TikTok, Instagram, X, and emerging platforms.
· Identify and react to real-time trends, memes, and cultural moments in a way that feels timely, brand-safe, and authentic.
· Support brand protection by adhering to access protocols, copyright guidelines, music usage rules, and platform rights management.
· Ensure secure access to brand accounts via approved tools, work devices, and two-factor authentication.
Qualifications & Experience
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
· 2+ years of experience in social media management and content creation.
· Strong proficiency in Mac and Windows environments (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.).
· Hands-on experience with content creation tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, and Canva.
· Comfortable creating video, photo, and graphic content for social platforms.
· Experience using social media management and analytics tools such as Sprout Social, Dash Hudson, or similar platforms.
· Highly organized with strong communication and product coordination skills.
· Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
· Flexibility to travel and work off-hours as needed based on campaign, shoot, or business needs.
