We are looking for a night social producer for MLB Pipeline – MLB.com’s vertical dedicated to coverage of prospects and Minor League Baseball – and MiLB. Social producers are responsible for promoting content from all Pipeline and MiLB social media channels. They will cut and post highlights from all levels of the Minor Leagues, with a focus on top prospects from Pipeline. The producers will keep track of performances and trends, identifying worthwhile storylines and players to promote. The position will rely heavily on the video MLB has access to, so video editing is required. The ideal candidate is a passionate baseball fan who understands the world of prospects and the nuances that come with it. Work is based on games, which occur at night and on weekends, so flexibility is key.
This job is part-time and seasonal and can be fully remote.
