Develops embedded software/firmware within environments that have constrained timing and memory resources, designs and implements reusable code, performs design and code reviews, as well as tests and validates product implementations. Job may require experience in system architecture and modeling, operating systems, device architecture, system integration, algorithm modeling, digital signal processing, and/or hardware design. Works with a variety of storage interface standards. Performs systemlevel design modeling, and systems integration, additionally performing algorithm modeling, benchmarking implementation, and/or digital signal processing. As a principal engineer, recognized as a domain expert who influences and drives technical direction across Intel and industry. Develops and mentors other technical leaders, grows the community, acts as a change agent, and role models Intel values. Aligns organizational goals with technical vision, formulates technical strategy to deliver leadership solutions, and demonstrates a track record of relentless execution in bringing products and technologies to market.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 20+ years' experience in System software/firmware design, development on Microcontrollers.
  • Strong knowledge in low level Software and firmware design , system architecture, operating systems, device drivers architecture and design.
  • Successful track record of delivering and managing complex projects and teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically and laser-focused on execution excellence with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $233,990.00-330,340.00 USD

Work Model for this Role
