The Senior Protection Assistant will play a key role in ensuring the effective management and protection environment of UNHCR-supported temporary shelters. She/he will oversee daily operations, ensure that residents—particularly women and children at risk—receive coordinated and rights-based support, and maintain proper documentation and case management standards. The incumbent will ensure compliance with shelter procedures and protection principles, and contribute to the development of individual case plans and follow-up.
She/he will work in close coordination with other UNHCR units, partners, and local authorities to ensure timely referrals, effective service delivery, and safe and dignified living conditions.
