Ecolab is searching for a new Senior Account Manager/ Account Manager in Singapore within our Life Sciences division, for the SEA & ANZ region.

The Life Sciences Senior Account Manager/ Account Manager is the face of the company for our customers and distributors and is responsible for the profitable growth of the field sales by building on existing customer and distributor relationships and expanding opportunities through new business. Senior Account Managers/ Account Managers foster strong customer relationships by providing personalized service and valuable expertise in cleaning and disinfection and delivering chemical and operational solutions to Pharmaceutical and Personal Care markets. They also have an appetite for growth and exploring new areas and opportunities to aggressively grow the business.
Job Description:
Achieve target sales growth for assigned territories and actively contribute to the achievement of the team targets on a regional basis.
Develop new relationships and/or consolidate existing relationships with direct end-users and distributors depending on assigned territories.
Prepare and deliver personalized recommendations for products, processes and programs to address cleaning, sanitation and decontamination challenges at Pharmaceutical and Personal Care markets, mainly for the Ecolab Contamination Control and Bioquell decontamination product ranges.
Through regular visits to customer sites in the SEA & ANZ region, build strong personal relationships across customer sites with production, quality, supervisory, management, office and corporate staff, tailoring communication to the audience.
Ensure local support, close cooperation and full exchange of information with Distributors, Global Corporate Account Managers, Global Technical Consultants and your Manager.
Maintain up to date pipeline and current sales forecasts, leads and wins utilizing existing tools and resources.
In collaboration with the team colleagues, internal functions and the distributor, animate the market via exhibitions, technical visits and seminars.
Requirements:
University degree in business administration, engineering, operations, chemistry, biology or another related field.
Strong preference to prior experience in the Pharmaceutical and/or Personal Care manufacturing.
3 - 5 years of progressively increasing responsibilities in account and/or channel management.
Willingness to travel up to 30% within assigned territories.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
Can demonstrate experience and success in managing customers and distributors.
Ability to work independently with strong work ethic and integrity.
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to sell value and solutions.
Analytical mind that understands market intelligence and data and apply it to sales strategy.
