JOB POSITION

Carelon Global Solutions India is seeking Software Engineer II.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY

  • 4+ Years of experience in ETL testing and data validation.
  • Expertise with ETL tools such as Snowflake, Teradata, AWS Glue
  • Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for ETL processes.
  • Check the accuracy of data extraction and Apply transformation logic to clean,consolidate, and integrate data
  • Good Knowledge of Snowflake Multi-Cluster Warehouses, Virtual Warehouses, Snowpipe ,Snowflake Clone ,Time Travel, etc.
  • Load data into a target database
  • Design, test, and improve the organization's data storage system
  • Collating and monitoring the defect management process
  • Expertise in creating manual test cases as well
  • Good to have knowledge in AWS & Snowflake testing
  • Work closely with developers to troubleshoot and resolve defects.
  • Experience in Agile practices (SCRUM).
  • Close Coordination & Collaboration with Internal Stakeholder/ External Stakeholders and Vendors
  • Managing the changes and executing regression tests
  • Document test results, report defects, and drive root cause analysis.
  • Understand and apply functional knowledge of the project to validate business logic, workflows and end-to-end data processing.
  • AHM 250 or equivalent healthcare domain knowledge is a plus.
  • Technical Certification around Snowpro Core / AWS Cloud Practitioner is a plus.

QUALIFICATION

Full time IT Engineering or equivalent degree (preferably in Computers)

EXPERIENCE

4+ years as AWS, Snowflake, ETL Tester

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

Design and Development:

  • Design, develop, execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for ETL processes using AWS services and Snowflake.
  • Check the accuracy of data extraction and Apply transformation logic to clean, consolidate, and integrate data.
  • Collating and monitor the defect management process.

Data Management:
 

  • Manage and optimize Snowflake environments to data correctness.
  • Design, test, and improve the organization's data storage system


Collaboration:
 

  • Work closely with developers, data analysts, data scientists, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and to troubleshoot and resolve defects.
     

Security and Compliance:
 

  • Ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Implement and manage access controls and encryption for sensitive data.
     

Experience:
 

  • Proven experience in ETL testing and data validation.
  • Managing the changes and executing regression tests.
  • Document test results, report defects, and drive root cause analysis.
  • Understand and apply functional knowledge of the project to validate business logic, workflows and end-to-end data processing.
  • Expertise in creating manual test cases as well.
     

Technical Skills:
 

  • Proficiency in SQL and Good Knowledge of Snowflake Multi-Cluster Warehouses, Virtual Warehouses, Snowpipe, Snowflake Clone, Time Travel.
  • Familiarity with data integration tools and ETL processes.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
