Job Details:
SUMMARY:
Responsibilities include: assist supervisor with maintaining a safe work environment and adhere to Tyson policies and procedures; insure that all HACCP USDA QA and GMP regulations are followed; assist supervisor in meeting production goals while maintaining quality standards; assist with the training of new team members; various other duties and tasks as assigned by supervisor. Team Member must be willing to work extended hours and seven days a week during peak production times.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience:
No experience necessary.
Communication Skills:
Must have good verbal and written communication skills; bilingual a plus.
Computer Skills:
Basic computer skills required. Special Skills: Ability to perform CCP monitoring and documentation and to operate equipment in the department; understanding of department and product requirements; must have a good attendance and safety record; good mathematical skills; ability to work with little supervision. Good leadership skills.
Position Invovles:
Lift up to 100 pounds; occasional bending stooping and reaching above shoulder; push pull full ham trees using high force; climb stairs and ladders; stand throughout the work shift and work in varying temperatures from one extreme to the other hot then cold etc .
