This Department of War enterprise data and analytics program delivers mission-critical capabilities that enable leaders across the Department to make faster, better-informed decisions using trusted data at scale. Leidos Digital Modernization sector is seeking an experienced SME Data Analyst to support the delivery, enhancement, and adoption of enterprise data and analytics products used across multiple DoD organizations.
In this role, you will work alongside government partners, engineers, and other industry teammates to translate operational and strategic requirements into scalable, production-ready solutions. You will contribute directly to product planning, execution, and continuous improvement—helping ensure capabilities are delivered efficiently, aligned to mission priorities, and positioned for sustained success.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead development and execution of advanced data analysis and analytical methodologies to support mission and enterprise use cases.
- Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and insights.
- Develop and maintain data models, analytical frameworks, and statistical analyses to support decision-making.
- Design and deliver dashboards, visualizations, and reports to communicate analytical findings.
- Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and AI/ML engineers to support integrated data solutions.
- Define data requirements and ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across systems.
- Support development of enterprise data products and analytics capabilities.
- Apply advanced analytics techniques including statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and exploratory data analysis.
- Support integration of analytics into DevSecOps pipelines and operational workflows .
- Provide technical guidance and recommendations to improve data analysis processes and outcomes.
- Support customer use case analysis and translate analytical findings into actionable recommendations.
- Develop and maintain documentation for analytical methods, data sources, and reporting processes.
- Participate in SAFe ceremonies including PI Planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Basic Qualifications:
- Active Top Secret (TS) clearance with SCI eligibility.
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline and 12 years of relevant experience OR Master’s degree in a related field and 10 years of relevant experience.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in data analysis, data visualization, or a related field.
- Extensive experience performing data analysis in enterprise or mission environments.
- Experience with programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
- Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Pandas, Tableau, Power BI, or similar).
- Experience analyzing structured and unstructured datasets at scale.
- Strong understanding of statistical analysis, data modeling, and analytical techniques.
- Experience operating within SAFe or Agile frameworks supporting enterprise systems.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Active TS/SCI clearance.
- Experience supporting DoD or Federal data analytics programs.
- Experience working with data platforms, data lakes, or cloud-based analytics environments.
- Experience supporting AI/ML workflows or predictive analytics initiatives.
- Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop, or similar).
- Relevant certifications in data analytics, data science, or visualization tools.
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms and services.
- Knowledge of DoD mission partner priorities and needs.
- Experience with service catalog management and service level agreements.
- Experience with knowledge management systems and AI capabilities for knowledge generation.

Pay Range $116,350.00 - $210,325.00
