This is a rewarding opportunity to support participants engaged in the service and build professional, trusting relationships and empower them along their journey towards recovery.
As a Recovery Worker, your role will see you working alongside participants and supporting them to achieve their own identified goals. Additionally, you will work alongside your team to support day-to-day operations of the Prevention and Recovery Care (PARC) service environment.
We are looking for new team members with availability to complete 4 sleepover shifts a fortnight. PARCs operate 24/7 on a rotating roster and penalty rates apply for afternoon, evening and weekend hours.
About the service
Preston Prevention and Recovery Care (PARC) is a sub-acute, home-like service dedicated to providing practical mental health support in our community.
This is a wholistic 24/7 program, delivered in partnership with the Area Mental Health Service, offering both clinical and psychosocial support to people who are becoming unwell, or as an additional support to strengthen their gains whilst transitioning from an inpatient setting back home.
Our multidisciplinary recovery teams are creative, motivated and focused on ensuring positive experiences for participants and their loved ones. All our recovery services value cultural diversity, support and create opportunities for recovery, value peer participation and leadership and are underpinned by evidence-based best practice.
