This role directly supports the engineering, project execution, and maintenance management functions by ensuring all external vendors and suppliers deliver services that meet contractual obligations, performance standards, and company quality requirements. The Lead function emphasizes setting standards, strategic guidance, and overall ownership of the vendor ecosystem, incorporating expertise in Supplier Performance Management, Strategic Planning, and Risk Management.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

SLA and Performance Management

  • Define, negotiate, and finalize comprehensive SLAs and performance metrics (KPIs) for all critical vendors/suppliers supporting engineering, projects, and maintenance.

  • Lead end-to-end vendor performance management, including defining SLA performance benchmarks, conducting vendor performance reviews, analyzing trends and risks, and recommending corrective actions or contract adjustments based on evaluation outcomes.

  • Conduct regular performance review meetings with key vendors and contractors to review metrics, resolve issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Contract Administration (SCN) & Documentation

  • Own the development and approval of TORs, scopes of work, and RFPs for new projects and services, ensuring alignment with business requirements, budget constraints, risk controls, and long-term operational objectives.

  • Establish and govern the vendor contract management framework, overseeing contract lifecycle management (execution, renewals, compliance, and amendments), ensuring contractual risk mitigation, and informing leadership of renewal or renegotiation strategies.

Supplier Selection (SCN)

  • Lead cross-functional supplier selection and onboarding, facilitating decision-making with Engineering, Project Delivery, Legal, and Finance, evaluating commercial and technical proposals, and recommending preferred vendors based on value, risk, and performance considerations.

  • Conduct capability assessments and due diligence on potential suppliers to ensure alignment with STT GDC's quality, technical, and compliance standards.

Strategic Planning & Resource Allocation (GMA)

  • Develop and implement a strategic vendor management plan that aligns with long-term engineering, expansion, and operational goals (Strategic Planning).

  • Assess and manage vendor capacity and resource allocation to ensure timely project execution and uninterrupted maintenance service delivery (Resource Allocation).

Risk Management (GMA)

  • Assess and manage vendor capacity, financial viability, and compliance with EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) and local regulatory standards.

  • Identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks related to vendor lock-in, supply chain disruptions, and non-compliance with contractual or security requirements (Risk Management).

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3–5 years of experience in vendor management, SLA management, contract administration, or a similar role, preferably in the data center, IT infrastructure, or facilities management domain.

  • Proven experience in contract negotiation and monitoring performance against formalized SLAs.

  • Exposure to maintenance management (preventive/corrective) and project lifecycle management.

  • Familiarity with data center operations, including MEPF systems (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection), is highly desirable.

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related technical field.

  • Knowledge of ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) framework, especially Service Level Management, is an advantage.

  • Training or certification in Procurement, Contract Management, or Project Management is preferred.

  • Proficient in reporting and data analysis.
