What You’ll Be Doing
Skip Trace Agents are accountable for gathering information from a variety of internet sites and bank systems in an attempt to locate clients for whom no valid contact information is known. Skip Trace Agents receive referrals through an automated dialer system, and use spreadsheets to schedule follow-up calls when they believe that a client may be found at a later time or date. Once clients are located, Skip Trace Agents record the valid contact information in CIBC systems so that Credit Counsellors can work to resolve account delinquency.
At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You can effectively perform all work activities remotely, and will only be required to be on-site on an occasional basis.
CIBC is transitioning to an Agent @ Home model, for this role you may be required to work from home at some point in this process. The expectation and details will be confirmed if you moved through the recruitment process. Even though this role may be a remote position - the expectation is that you must be able to attend your primary CIBC location within two hours upon request (e.g. technology/service outages, Business Contingency Planning, team meetings, celebration, events, etc.)
Agent @ Home Program Requirements
Please note, the working hours of the role are from Tuesday to Friday 12pm-8pm PST and Saturday 8am-4pm PST. The training can be on-site at 400 Burrard Street, Vancouver.
