Skills Development Coach, Desjardins Agent Network

Temporary position for 12 months. 

As a Skills Development Coach for the Desjardins Agent Network (DAN), you play a pivotal role in empowering the independent Agents and their teams to achieve success through targeted skills development. You will design, deliver, and continuously improve coaching programs that address evolving business priorities. Your work involves diagnosing training needs, creating impactful learning experiences, and fostering a culture of growth and adaptability. More specifically, you will be required to: 

  • Conduct needs analysis to identify skill gaps and align training initiatives with business objectives. 

  • Design and deliver engaging coaching programs through Group workshops (Personal Lines, Digital Coaching, Relationship Building, Financial Services),Team Member Connections (in-person team events to inspire and share best practices), and The Bridge (virtual sessions for updates, Q&A, and change integration).

  • Plan and execute tailored sessions for Agents, Regional Directors, and Regional Oversight Leaders.

  • Collaborate with internal subject matter experts and stakeholders to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging and delivery.

  • Manage multiple projects and coordinate across teams.

What you bring to the table 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field

  • A minimum of five years of relevant experience in training, coaching, or skills development 

  • Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered 

  • Sales experience 

  • Experience facilitating and presenting for both in-person and virtual environments 

  • Other than Life (OTL) and Life License Qualification Program (LLQP) licenses 

  • Expert proficiency in English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English speaking partners, members and/or clients

  • Intermediate knowledge of DAN systems, tools, and products
