Site Surveyor

Why this role?
KONE is seeking a skilled and experienced Site Surveyor to carry out all types of equipment and safety
surveys, such as site surveys, equipment technical surveys, safety audits. In this role, you will ensure compliance with KONE standards and safety rules, maintain strong customer relationships, and provide accurate data and documentation to support equipment safety and quality.

What will you be doing?
Customer Relationship Management

• Maintain excellent relationships with customers, site contacts, and end-users by demonstrating KONE’s Ambassador attitude.

Surveying

• Plan and execute equipment surveys according to KONE standards and safety rules.
• Take accurate measurements and complete required documentation and photos.
• Report necessary updates and pictures to the National Frontline (FL) unit data manager for global database updates.
• Immediately escalate critical safety issues to your supervisor.
• Ensure surveyed equipment is in safe operating condition.
• Participate in meetings and work groups related to quality and technical issues at the FL unit level.

Data Input

• Input survey data accurately into the system (Paper & Mobile app).
• Use electrical surveying tools for data collection (Tablet PC).

Are you the one?

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electromechanics, or Mechanics.
• 3–5 years in building construction sector, specilized in site surveying, or elevator/escalator maintenance or modernization.
• Experience in related fields (safety industry, technical maintenance, building audits, lift audits, or notified body work).
• Ability to perform tasks requiring mobility (e.g., climbing onto elevator car roofs).
• Safety and maintenance procedures (e.g., accessing machine rooms, shafts, stopping lifts).
• Maintenance of elevators and escalators is highly preferred.
• Fluent in Thai and intermediate English is highly preferred.
• Curious and detail-oriented attitude toward equipment and environment.
• General audit competence and on-site operations experience.
• Willing to travel extensively across Thailand to conduct site surveying.
