Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Site Superintendent to join our team! In this role you will get to support the day‑to‑day site supervision and coordination of construction works on a mission‑critical data center project, ensuring activities are executed safely, in accordance with approved drawings and specifications, and aligned with the overall construction program.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Support the Construction Manager and Construction MEP Manager in supervising daily site activities across civil, architectural, and MEP works.

  • Monitor contractor works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and quality standards.

  • Conduct regular site inspections, identifying workmanship issues, safety concerns, or deviations, and escalating them promptly.

  • Coordinate with contractors to ensure work areas are ready, materials are available, and activities are properly sequenced.

  • Assist in enforcing HSE requirements, safe systems of work, and site housekeeping standards.

  • Witness inspections, tests, and installations in accordance with Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).

  • Track daily progress and contribute to site reports, look‑ahead schedules, and coordination meetings.

  • Support the management of snagging, defect close‑out, and readiness for testing and commissioning activities.

  • Maintain accurate site records including daily logs, inspections, and non‑conformance observations.

  • Communicate clearly with PMC teams and contractors to support smooth site operations.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline

  • 3–5 years of experience in site supervision roles, with exposure to data centers or other mission‑critical facilities preferred.

  • Practical understanding of construction methods, installation quality, and site coordination across multiple trades.

  • Experience working for a Project Management Consultancy (PMC), Engineer, or Client representative, supervising contractor works.

  • Basic knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, and quality control processes.

  • Awareness of site safety practices and willingness to actively intervene when unsafe conditions are observed.

  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multi‑disciplinary site team.

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Construction Management (or equivalent).

  • Basic site safety training (e.g., HSE induction, permit‑to‑work awareness).


What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

  • Experience supporting construction on data center projects, including power, cooling, or specialist systems installations.

  • Familiarity with commissioning support activities, inspections, and phased handovers.

  • Experience using digital site reporting tools or construction management platforms.

  • Prior experience working on fast‑track projects in a multi‑contractor environment.

  • A proactive, detail‑focused approach with a strong sense of accountability and teamwork.
