Summary
- Plans, establishes and manages external vendor services in security at manufacturing site. Implements and manage CAH global security initiatives locally.
- Responsible for CTPAT site inspections with Logistics Team.
- Responsible for the local site security program, providing support to the local Management team in all aspects of Security.
- Responsible for the management of the site Business Continuity Program (BCP).
- Manage Outsourced services to ensure utmost efficiencies with a good service mindset.
Job Description
- Manage and oversee security vendors and service providers who safeguard the plant, product, employees, visitors and contractors.
- Line Manager to Site Senior Security Officer.
- Manage local Security Technology Systems - Access Control, CCTV etc. Working closely with Cardinal Health Security Technology Team to ensure all systems are functioning correctly.
- Lead and manage Cardinal Health, Rayong C-TPAT program and initiatives, working closely with the Logistics and Supply Chain Teams. This includes conducting regular security reviews of the 3rd Party Warehouse.
- Identify protection goals, objectives and metrics consistent with corporate strategic plan.
- Manage the implementation of global security policy, standards, guidelines and procedures to ensure ongoing maintenance of security. Physical protection responsibilities will include: asset protection, workplace violence protection, access control systems, video surveillance network, employee education and awareness on security issues.
- Work with other senior managers to prioritize security initiatives and spending based on appropriate risk management and cost control.
- Maintain good working relationships with local law enforcement and relevant officials.
- Oversee incident response management and reporting as well as the investigation of security breaches and assist with disciplinary and legal matters associated with such breaches as necessary.
- Work with outside consultants as appropriate for independent security audits.
- Works with Region Security Director and may support audits as appropriate throughout the region (when required).
- Manage the distribution of all incoming and outgoing mail. Responsible for Tracking and recording of registered mail to ensure safe delivery. Responsible for posting periodic reminders to employees who have personal mail sent to the plant that they should use their home address for such mail. Manage records of pieces of mail received daily. Responsible to send mail back to sender after 30 days of no action.
- Meeting on monthly basis with Security Guarding Vendor and create/manage metrics to track their performance.
- Ensure all vendors’ employees are qualified and perform the work meet Cardinal Health Contractor standard.
- Responsible for maintaining site Business Continuity Plan in accordance with Cardinal Health Business Resiliency Program and conducting annual Crisis Management Exercise.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration preferred
- Professional courses and qualifications in personnel and asset protection
- Knowledge of United States Supply Chain Security Program, Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT) preferred
- Courses in Risk Management/Project Management
- Proficient MS Office skills
- At least three years’ leadership experience managing security teams of diverse people in a manufacturing environment
- Good interpersonal skills, as well as disciplined process management
- Organized and efficient. Has a service mind and “can do” attitude
- Demonstrated effective working relationships with local law enforcement officials and security vendors
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Thai
