WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT TO US 

As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will join one of our Interface and Connectivity Product Areas and become part of a collaborative team focused on operating and improving our Azure-based SaaS platform. You’ll work with experienced engineers and cross-functional colleagues to help ensure reliability, scalability, and operational excellence for both onboarding and running client environments. 

This role is a launchpad for your development as an SRE—combining hands-on engineering, automation, monitoring, and platform support—with strong mentorship and continuous learning opportunities built in. 

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR 

  • Deploy and support secure external connectivity solutions between the SaaS platform, clients, and third-party vendors

  • Configure and maintain Azure networking components such as Network Security Groups (NSGs), Application Security Groups (ASGs), VNet Peerings, Private Links, and VPN connections

  • Assist in client onboarding by supporting VPN setup, IP whitelisting, firewall rule implementation, and connectivity validation

  • Monitor connectivity services and network components using Azure Monitor and related observability tools

  • Coordinate routine maintenance activities, deployments, refreshes, rollbacks, and security updates for connectivity services

  • Participate in incident response, troubleshooting, and change management related to network and interface connectivity

  • Support certificate lifecycle management and ensure secure communication protocols are maintained

  • Implement and maintain firewall configurations in alignment with security standards

  • Maintain accurate network diagrams, connectivity documentation, and operational runbooks

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable and secure communication channels across environments

  • Contribute to operational reviews and continuous improvement initiatives

  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and support sprint-based delivery

WHAT WE VALUE 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field 

  • Some practical exposure to cloud, DevOps, or infrastructure topics through coursework, internships, or side projects 

  • Exposure in Microsoft Azure, automation, and cloud operations.

  • Familiarity with scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) and version control (Git) – good to have.

  • Awareness of monitoring, basic networking, or incident response is a plus 

  • A self-motivated, collaborative mindset and clear communication skills.

  • Willingness to learn, grow, and contribute to shared team outcomes

For Toronto only: The salary range for this position is $68,880 - $103,320 CAD. Base pay may vary based on factors such as years of experience, skills and qualifications. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and benefits including health and dental care, time off and Group RRSP/TFSA.
