What You’ll Do:
- Design, implement, and manage highly available AWS infrastructure — including services such as SSM, Parameter Store, Glue, IAM, Route53, CloudFormation, VPC, Security Groups, Subnets, ECS, EKS, ASG, ELB, Lambda, and API Gateway.
- Automate environment provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible).
- Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, TeamCity, GitLab CI, or Chef to enable continuous delivery.
- Manage artifact repositories and secrets using HashiCorp Vault, Sonatype Nexus, or JFrog Artifactory.
- Containerize and orchestrate workloads with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS).
- Drive automation for deployments across both on‑premises and AWS, improving release frequency and reliability.
- Contribute to system monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident resolution to maintain service uptime and performance.
- Champion resiliency and disaster‑recovery across all layers of infrastructure.
- Collaborate closely with Development and QA teams across time zones to deliver high‑quality, stable releases.
- Mentor peers, share best practices, and foster a DevOps culture of continuous improvement.
What You’ll Bring:
- Minimum 5+ years of hands‑on AWS experience, including practical knowledge of key services listed above.
- Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines and common tools (Jenkins, TeamCity, GitLab CI, Chef).
- Solid hands‑on capability in both Windows and Linux environments.
- Proficient in scripting and automation using one or more of: Java, Python, Groovy, Shell, Bash, Ruby, PowerShell.
- Proven ability to implement IaC and automate deployment pipelines (Terraform, Ansible).
- Experience improving release processes to reduce lead time and increase deployment frequency.
- Good understanding of application resiliency, backup, and DR principles.
- A proactive, “can‑do” attitude with drive for learning, problem‑solving, and ownership.
- Comfortable working in a globally distributed team.
